SEO AND ASSOCIATES is a leading provider of business solutions in Nigeria. We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Familiarity with tax and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAGE, Peachtree, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications

ACA, ACCA, or any relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Online Quickbooks for financial reporting

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee financial accounts and transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with local tax laws.
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to small business
Work closely with external accountants and tax consultants.
